How we got here
Chris Pilone
In one way or another, I have always found myself migrating back towards the links. Course View Photography came about through a series of fortunate events during some unfortunate circumstances. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, I began my career in the finance industry working in beautiful city of Knoxville. After about three years with some great people, I decided to pursue an opportunity in New York City. In February of 2020, I began to work on Wall Street. Shortly after moving I realized that I had just walked into the worlds largest petri dish only to get shut down by to a global pandemic.
Safe to say the life I thought I would be having quickly evaporated. Soon after covid hit I migrated back home to Cincinnati, OH where I was reunited with what I have found to be my passion and motivation. Since the pandemic, I have had the flexibility to enjoy the game of golf in ways I would have never had before. Combining what has been a life long hobby with a sport that brings so much joy has led me to creating something I truly enjoy. Showcasing the beauty of the golf course.
My
golf journey began right here on this hole. More formally known as number two on the South course at The Grizzly, this is where I first learned to hit the ball and since spent countless hours trying to perfect my amateur craft. During endless practice sessions, I began to focus my attention on the incredible views the golf course had to offer during the golden hours of sunrise and sunset. Amazed by these shots, I wanted to share this perspective with every course I possibly could.
In comes Course View Photography. My mission is to expose never before seen vantage points of as many clubs as possible. My work strives to give a true sense of the moment as if you were there yourself.
